A psychological evaluation provides a comprehensive understanding of a person's cognitive abilities, academic performance, and behavioral and emotional functioning. This information can be crucial in determining appropriate educational interventions and accommodations for students with learning disabilities or other challenges.
The benefits of a psychological evaluation can be an invaluable tool to help clients better understand themselves. Each evaluation will be made with the purpose of providing clients with diagnostic clarity and treatment recommendations. For students, a psychological evaluation provides a comprehensive understanding of a person's cognitive abilities, academic performance, behavioral, and emotional functioning. This information can be crucial in determining appropriate educational and home interventions.
Ages 6 years old and up.
The evaluation can take about 4-6 hours of in-person testing, with breaks, which can be divided into 2 separate days of testing if needed. Expect the full psychological report within 3-4 weeks after completing all testing measures (both in-person and virtual measures), where you will receive a Feedback Session with the full report.
The cost for a complete Psychological Evaluation is $3,250, with a $250 non-refundable payment due upon scheduling your appointment date to hold your spot. Afterwards, you will have two options for payment:
Option 1: Pay the remaining $3,000 in full on the first day of testing.
Option 2: Pay the $1,500 deposit due at the first testing date. The remaining $1,500 is payable at the start of the Feedback Session, which can occur 3-4 weeks after the first session.
If you are in need of a partial Psychological Evaluation, meaning you do not need a full battery of tests and just a few, the fee is $2,000, with the $250 non-refundable deposit. The above payment options are available for this as well.
I operate as an out-of-network provider for psychological evaluations, meaning I can facilitate the reimbursement process by providing clients with a Superbill, which is a detailed medical bill that you can submit to your insurance company. Reimbursement rates are contingent upon your specific health insurance provider and plan. I always recommend verifying this before scheduling an evaluation.
For added convenience, I accept payments through HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) cards. This approach is designed to offer flexibility and support in navigating the financial aspects of your mental healthcare journey.
